Access Net is a project of the Oklahoma Developmental Disabilities Council in cooperation with Ability Resources of Tulsa and the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services. Project Access NET's purpose is to promote community access by persons with developmental disabilities to global electronic information systems such as the Internet and email through local public libraries and other public agencies.

Computers have been placed at 53 sites statewide. The computers are equipped with JAWS screen reader software, headphones and trackball and all have free access to the Internet. Each site may have added additional software and accessibility features.
