ABLEDATA provides objective information about assistive technology products and rehabilitation equipment available from domestic and international sources. Although ABLEDATA does not sell any products, they can help you locate the companies that do.

ABLEDATA Online Information Centers provide a collection of information on the Internet pertaining to assistive technology and other resources. Information is included on products, websites, conferences, manufacturers, publications and organizations.

This national consortium on deaf-blindness information is to nurture, empower and instruct children who are deaf-blind. DB-LINK's extensive resources and personalized service are available to anyone needing information about, or for, deaf-blind children. Their goal is to help parents, teachers, and others by providing them with information to foster the skills, strategies and confidence necessary to nurture and empower deaf-blind children. DB-LINK is a federally-funded service that identifies, coordinates, and disseminates, at no cost, information related to children and youth from birth through 21 years of age.

A national clearinghouse on post secondary education for individuals with disabilities.The HEATH Resource Center is an online clearinghouse on postsecondary education for individuals with disabilities. The clearinghouse serves as an information exchange about educational support services, policies, procedures, adaptations, and opportunities at American campuses, career-technical schools, and other postsecondary training entities.

The Clearinghouse disseminates information about deaf education and deaf and hard of hearing children ages 0-21, their families, and the professionals who serve them. All subjects related to the development of this population are addressed, including literacy, family involvement, transition, language development, sign language, hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other areas related to education of the deaf.
