Persons served may also have other developmental or physical disabilities in addition to developmental disabilities (mental retardation).
Respite care is one of the services that may be provided for individuals being served under Medicaid waivers administered by the Division. The primary Medicaid waiver presently used for provision of many in-home and community services, including respite care, is restricted to serving Medicaid eligible persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (mental retardation).
