Commissioner Ray Kirk

Muskogee County resident Ray Kirk and his wife Elada own and operate a 585-acre cattle and thoroughbred horse ranch southeast of Muskogee. He was employed as a State Farm Insurance Companies agent for 32 years before his retirement.

Commissioner Kirk graduated from Tahlequah High School and Northeastern State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. He completed graduate studies at Wichita State University while teaching in a private business college and coached and taught classes in public schools for several years.

The Oklahoma Commission for Rehabilitation Services.

He attends First Baptist Church in Muskogee and is active in Masonic and Bedouin Shrine organizations which assist with children’s medical needs in eastern Oklahoma.
