Transcript of news report:
Monica Price (MP): "In other news tonight, it's been a year and a half in the
making, and now the information is literally at your fingertips.
MP: "Check it out. The Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services has
updated its online resource guide. The guide shares disability information on
the local, state and national level."
MP: "The new version allows you to find information on housing, adaptive
clothing equipment or information on diseases and conditions."
MP: "It now uses the familiar Google search tool. You just type in a keyword and
the website searches more than 3,000 entries."
Dana Tallon, Department of Rehabilitation Services Public Relations Officer:
"For the average lay person out there, I think it's as easy because it's broken
down into chapters. Each chapter has a section that breaks it down even further
so they don't have to look through one long chapter, they can look through each
section."
MP: "The website receives anywhere from 3,000 to 4,000 hits per day. Click on
the link below to check it out.
