Monica Price (MP): "In other news tonight. It's a first for the Oklahoma Library
for the Blind.
For the first time, the National Library Service has accepted a digital
recording from a regional library.
The library put together an audio book recorded in the digital format, a better,
higher-quality than traditional analogue recordings.
They put together a children's book and it's called "When Turtle Grew Feathers."
Those involved say it's all about putting out the best product."
Jill Streck,Director of the Digital Recording Studio at the Oklahoma Library for
the Blind, "We want to give them the best quality possible because they deserve
it. That's why we do this for our patrons so we do the best job we can with the
equipment that we have."
