MP: "Supporters of the project were also there at the capitol to celebrate the creation of the new program, which got started on Monday.

MP: "It will create a lab school for deaf education and speech pathology students. And the new program will also benefit parents in other ways".

Jody Harlan, with the Department of Rehabilitation Services: "These parents can keep there little ones at home and get an outstanding education by the deaf experts in the state. But they don't have to travel at a young age and live at the School for the Deaf."

John Clipp, parent of a deaf child: "It will teach him how to talk, the school is great. They'll teach him the vocalization and he'll be able to catch up with other three year old children. I think it's a great bill."
